Generally, at the primary residence. Exceptions: Child support is based on the child’s place of residence; vehicle registration is based on the place of registration.
Do I need an appointment?▼
This is almost always the case at the City Hall, the DMV, and the Immigration Office. Make an appointment online, or you'll be waiting for hours.
Is that possible digitally?▼
There are plenty of applications to fill out—housing assistance, child support, parental leave benefits. Identification documents and certifications are usually only available in person.
