What do I need to apply?▼
Biometric photo, eye exam (no more than two years old), first aid certificate, passport or ID card.
How long will the exhibition last?▼
Two to six weeks after submitting the application. A provisional driver's license may be issued in cases of urgent need.
Can I exchange a foreign driver's license?▼
EU driver's licenses are usually issued without a test. Non-EU: a written and/or road test is often required.
How much does a driver's license cost?▼
Government fee: approx. 40 euros – the majority of the costs come from driving school and exams.
